Breaking with local tradition, I don't surf. I'm an avid swimmer, boogie boarder and ocean explorer of the non-surfing variety.

I love travelling and hiking — and have done my best to combine the two by trekking through ranges in as many foreign countries as life allows.

I was a professional cellist for many years, performing across Australia and internationally. After playing Pachelbel's Canon a few hundred times, the career shift made a lot of sense.
