F A Q
The questions I get asked most.
Absolutely! I've been in the marriage game full time since 2019. It's all I
do.
I do — and it's a good one. Battery powered, so it works anywhere.
You're welcome to use it for your ceremony music too.
Good question, and the honest answer is it varies. Sunshine
Coast celebrants generally range from around $800 to $1,800. At the lower end you'll find
newcomers or part-timers; at the upper end, experienced full-timers. I don't list pricing on the
website because every wedding is different — once I know the basics (date, location, time, whether
you need MC etc.) I'll get a quote to you quickly.
I do. I approach it the same way I approach ceremonies — personal,
entertaining, and focused on keeping the night moving in the right direction.
Absolutely, and it’s what I love most about the wedding
game. I've heard some great ones over the years. Bounce ideas off me — it's all part of the service.
Yes. Always have, always will. I marry everyone.
That's my job. It all happens in the background so you
can focus on the important stuff — like planning the honeymoon.
entertaining, and focused on keeping the night moving in the right direction.
Sure do. From 5-person elopements to 500-person extravaganzas, I've
done the lot. We can get you married with a small crew wherever you like.
Yep. No fuss, no big production — just the piece of paper
done properly. You need two witnesses and that's about it. Get in touch for details.
Yes. Most of my weddings are in Queensland but I've never turned one down based
on location. Just know that if you're getting married on the Nullarbor or mt kosciuszko there'll be a
travel cost involved.
That one's on you legally — the person changing their name
has to do it themselves. That said, I always recommend Easy Name Change, which makes the
whole process a lot less painful.
Hasn't happened yet — knock on wood. I work
closely with a number of like-minded celebrants who provide backup, and I'm a member of several
professional associations. You're covered.
Last year actually, with the Noosa Symphony
Orchestra who are the biggest bunch of legends ever and kindly put up with me as their soloists for
a few nights!
